Gemini Data Loggers, manufacturer of the Tinytag range, has announced the launch of new rugged, weatherproof radio data loggers – Plus Radio. The new loggers are designed for monitoring in harsh outdoor, industrial and warehousing applications. They work alongside Tinytag Ultra Radio loggers which are more suitable for indoor monitoring and both types of unit can be mixed and matched within a system, to offer a comprehensive choice of solutions for integrated monitoring applications.
Plus Radio offers a wide range of measurement and input options including temperature and temp/RH. Plus Radio loggers also offer low voltage, current, and count inputs, for use with third party sensors to record properties such as pressure, flow rates and footfall.
The Tinytag Radio Data Logging System automatically gathers data using wireless communications and is one of the most versatile and easy to use systems of its kind. It is ideal for larger sites and applications. Direct access to the data is available from the convenience of the user’s own desk, with information viewed on a PC, across a LAN, or remotely across the internet. Alarm warnings can be sent when the value being monitored goes out of specification.
As well as radio loggers, Gemini also manufactures standalone data loggers which record information that is downloaded via a USB cable for viewing on a PC. Loggers in the range record temperature, RH, single and three phase power usage, voltage, current and count. They can be supplied with probes for monitoring extremes of temperature such as those in manufacturing, processes and cryogenic areas, and awkward to reach areas such as pipework.
