Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) specialist Power Control (PCL) is pleased to announce the appointment of its new business development director, Samuel Orton
Mr Orton will be responsible for developing existing business and creating new opportunities to gain additional market share. With over a decade of industry knowledge, Mr Orton brings with him an enviable range of principle connections, which coupled with his vast sector experience makes him the perfect candidate to contribute to PCL’s overall sales strategy.
In addition, Mr Orton will be charged with managing site specific power protection solutions and broadening PCL’s strategic business partnerships. With the company continually expanding, Mr Orton will also be charged with developing and training new members of the sales force.
Commenting, Mr Orton said: “Having previously worked for the company, I am very excited to be re-joining the fantastic team at such a pivotal time. Since the business rebrand at the start of 2015, I have watched PCL not only develop a strong identity in the industry but also secure some extremely prestigious UPS projects.
“PCL posted impressive sales figures at the close of last year and with its aggressive growth strategy I have no doubt that we will continue in this success. I am very much looking forward to being part of this incredibly focused and dynamic company again.”
Joining from a multibillion global technology company, Mr Orton comes highly recommended by his peers and delivers invaluable commercial experience. As PCL continues to grow at a rapid pace across the UK and Ireland the company will be expanding its sales force and technical engineering teams. Further appointments will be announced over the coming months.
