Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has announced a strategic collaboration with Paris based energy storage consultancy Clean Horizon.  As an industry expert, Clean Horizon will work alongside Parker, finding solutions to the many challenges that affect the rapidly changing renewable energy generation and electricity storage markets.

Parker’s Energy Grid Tie Division is a newly created, highly focused business, formed solely for the purpose of providing future proofed energy storage solutions. Drawing from over 35 years of experience in electric power electronics, the division designs and manufactures grid tie systems that are used in renewable energy and smart grid applications across the globe. With engineering expertise in power electronics, energy storage, advanced cooling/thermal management and turn-key custom engineered systems, the Energy Grid Tie division also augments its design and manufacturing capabilities thanks to a dedicated support team, from project management to field service they’re able to deliver projects through to successful commissioning.

Parker’s EGT Division offers grid tie inverters and related equipment in a variety of configurations and sizes for all major renewable energy applications. In the growing field of utility scale battery energy storage, Parker provides the PCS (Power Conversion System) and is the industry leader in lithium ion battery-based systems. In addition, Parker manufactures outdoor duty battery enclosures, complete with climate control, fire suppression, and monitoring systems.
