As part of its continuing expansion, fragment retention lamp manufacturer GlassGuard has extended its operations in Switzerland, appointing a new local distributor.
Max Bertschinger has been appointed as a distributor of GlassGuard fragment retention lamps to the Swiss region. Bertschinger also distributes to Austria and northern Italy.
Based in the Swiss canton of Aargau, Bertschinger will be interacting with specifiers and end-users to ensure GlassGuard fragment retention lamps are identified in applications where lamps need to be protected.
GlassGuard commercial director Mark Goodwin said: “Companies such as Nestlé, Frey and Dr. Oetker are already using GlassGuard fragment retention lamps at their manufacturing sites in Switzerland. The appointment of Bertschinger is very important for GlassGuard, as it will enable us to promote the critical requirement for fragment retention lamps in industries such as food manufacturing, in Switzerland.”
GlassGuard fragment retention lamps provide a solution for all businesses and organisations wishing to eliminate glass contamination and personal injury from accidental lamp breakage. The range is designed to provide the highest level of protection for the food production, pharmaceutical, hotel and catering industries as well as for areas accessible to the public, including schools, leisure centres and hospitals.
