Claude Lyons has recently introduced its new PowerSave Electronic Energy Savers (EES) that include the same features of the ESSX range of energy saving regulators, plus the added benefit of including a totally electronic based-system.

Commenting on the launch, Jim McIlfatrick, managing director of Claude Lyons, said, “Incorporating the very latest technology in electronic voltage control and microprocessor controlled intelligence, this system will allow customers to make energy savings of up to 25%. The result will be lower overall running and ownership costs and a reduced carbon footprint as each kWh of electrical energy saved is equivalent to 0.537kg of CO2.

“This launch is particularly exciting for us as the design only requires the same level of maintenance afforded to an office computer.”

Initially the new units will be available in single- and 3-phase models up to 200A with further expansion of the range being planned for the future.
