Dieselec Thistle has expanded its Glasgow head office site, more than doubling its operating space to 65,000 ft2 in a seven figure investment.
The extended premises, a result of the company’s continued growth in turnover during the past four years, will include additional workshops, a storage and showroom facility and new office space. The enhanced site will now also include a bespoke test cell facility which will enable Dieselec Thistle to carry out Factory Acceptance Testing on their own site, rather than taking clients across to FG Wilson’s factory in Northern Ireland, thus streamlining the company’s operations and enabling it to offer higher levels of service to customers.
Sales director of Dieselec Thistle, Brian Muirie, said, “Our aim over the past two years has been to extend our excellent reputation and market leading position in Scotland on a national basis and that strategy has fuelled our rapid growth. We have increased our team and to sustain our growth path we now need to extend our facilities too. Our in-house testing facility will give us another advantage in the standby power marketplace with an advanced custom specification that will future-proof this investment for years to come.”
