Schneider Electric has appointed Damien Dhellemmes as the new Senior Vice President of its Secure Power and Data Center business in Europe

With more than 30 years of international leadership experience at Schneider Electric, including senior operational and supply chain roles in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Damien brings extensive commercial leadership to the business – accelerating its regional growth ambitions and underpinning its mission to become the global energy technology partner for data centres and artificial intelligence (AI).

Most recently, Damien served as Senior Vice President for Schneider Electric’s Digital Energy business globally, where he helped customers accelerate digital transformation through software, automation and intelligent energy management. Working as part of a strong and established organization, Digital Energy saw continued growth and demand across key areas including technical buildings in Healthcare, Public administration, Real Estate, and Data Centres.

Having recently relocated to Paris, Damien will now be responsible for leading Schneider Electric’s Secure Power and Data Center business across the European region – working closely with the company’s customers, partners and regional teams to meet continued, commercial demand for AI infrastructure.

This includes its prefabricated power and three-phase UPS technologies; AI-Ready EcoStruxure Data Centre Solutions portfolio; Motivair by Schneider Electric liquid cooing systems; and its EcoStruxure Software and Services – all while building on the strong and established global AI ecosystem partnerships with leaders including NVIDIA and AMD.

“The data centre industry has entered one of the most exciting and demanding periods in its history and Europe has a unique opportunity to lead the next wave of AI leadership,” said Damien Dhellemmes, Senior Vice President, Secure Power and Data Centres, Europe, Schneider Electric.

“As the global energy technology partner for data centres and AI, Schneider Electric is perfectly positioned to help partners and customers capture demand. By combining our expertise across power, cooling, software and services with our longstanding ecosystem partnerships, our customers can build infrastructure that is not only faster and more resilient from inception, but more efficient and sustainable.”

Throughout his career, Damien has delivered continued growth for Schneider Electric’s business, developing deep operational expertise by spending two decades working in its global supply chain before moving into commercial leadership in Digital Energy. His combination of deep operational and customer experience will be vital to support Schneider Electric’s continued growth – helping customers accelerate AI deployments while reducing project risk, and advancing energy tech through integrated power, cooling, software and services.

Damien’s tenure as SVP, Secure Power and Data Centres for Europe begins with immediate effect.
