The new Athens Metro Mall shopping mall above the Agios Dimitrios metro station, in the southern suburbs of Athens is receiving fire protection thanks to 90 Kentec addressable control panels.
The mall, spread over five levels, is dedicated to shopping and entertainment offering 85 stores, 18 eateries, five cinema screens, a supermarket, the Volta Fun Park and 1,200 parking spaces.
As a magnet to thousands of visitors, this retail complex demands risk management systems of the highest integrity, including fire detection, security, CCTV and access control systems.
At the heart of the fire safety system are two separate networks of 90 Kentec Syncro AS one loop control panels supported by Argus Vega Protocol and integrated to 1,800 Argus detection devices, plus 170 ADOS addressable CO detectors within the parking area.
