Critical power specialist, Powertecnique, has been shortlisted in The News’ Business Excellence Awards 2015. Its MoD-inspired project, DataShelter, and remote monitoring software, PowerVue, have been recognised and are up for Innovation of the Year at the awards.
Powertecnique managing director, Darren Pearce, commented: “This is valuable recognition of the fact that by nature we are innovators. Both products have allowed us to build internal teams, which has helped build communication and teamwork throughout the whole company. Everyone has been involved in the deployment of the new products and it has already proven hugely beneficial to the firm. We are always learning from something new and incorporating our learning into the wider workforce to bring improvements to our next project.”
The nomination follows a number of Award successes for Powertecnique including Hampshire Chamber’s Excellence in Innovation title, its ‘Made in the South East’ training award last year, and its shortlist status in two categories at the Datacenter Dynamics EMEA awards.
The winners will be announced at a black tie dinner at Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 6th March.
