A new range of circuit protection products for consumer units has been launched by Contactum. The products feature both Dual Split Load and Split Load models designed to allow the installer to comply to the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations. All units in the range feature a flexible configuration for optimal combinations of RCDs, MCBs and RCBOs and come with a direct fed section for individual MCBs or RCBOs.
They are available in plastic, metal and flush options and come with a full range of command and control devices.
The units also come with coloured MCB dollys for easy identification, generous cabling space and secure three point fixing.
The Dual Split Load Consumer units feature two RCD sections to allow for the division of circuits to minimise nuisance tripping. The Split Load Consumer units are based on Contactum’s existing range, but feature new MCB and RCBOs and therefore have new product codes.
Tested to BS EN 60439-3, the products are suitable for both new build homes and those being refurbished.
