NAPIT and Megger have taken their Amendment 3 Seminar Roadshow to Jersey and Guernsey, with a further seminar planned for the Isle of Wight in October. The FREE seminars, which have been running since October 2014, have previously visited a wide variety of locations across the country, from large cities to rural locations, ensuring as many installers as possible are educated on the latest changes to the Wiring Regulations.

“We feel it is vital that installers are updated with Amendment 3 to the BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, as it is the core document for electrical contractors,” said NAPIT Regional Inspections Manager, Paul Chaffers. “We have taken steps to ensure installers in remote regions have access to the same information as those living in densely populated areas. The sessions on the Channel Islands have been well attended so far and the engagement from attendees has been fantastic. We are looking forward to the Isle of Wight seminar to continue the roadshow.”

Eddie Feist, of EWF Electrical attended the Guernsey seminar and said: “I enjoyed how informative the evening was with regards to improving my knowledge of the new amendment. The extensive content in the presentation provided great explanation on certain situations that you may come across as an electrician.”

An Amendment 3 Seminar will be held at Newport IOW Football Club on the Isle of Wight on 8th October from 5:00 – 8:00pm. If you are interested in attending, call NAPIT on 0345 5430330 to reserve your FREE place. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
