It has been announced that the 2020 Battery Experts Forum will now take place at the same time as Light + Building, from 28 September-1 October 2020 in the Congress Center and Hall 6.0 on the grounds of the Messe Frankfurt.
Over 5,000 attendees are expected to attend the Battery Experts Forum, as well as almost 200 international exhibitors. Due to the coronavirus, the Light + Building exhibition will be delayed to the last week of September, and will take place at the same time as the Battery Experts Forum. Attendees with a valid ticket to one event will be able to attend the other free of charge.
“We have tracked the situation surrounding the coronavirus carefully, and have decided it requires that Light + Building be delayed. We look forward to making our contribution by holding it at the same time as the 2020 Battery Experts Forum. Having the two events at the same time will create unique synergies. Energy storage and mobile battery solutions are important topics at both events, and they will complement one another well”, said BMZ marketing manager and PR spokesman, Christian Adamczyk.
The organisers say that holding the Battery Experts Forum at the end of September will pay off, as many exhibitions during the first half of the year have been cancelled, including many professional events for the battery market. Companies are looking for options for attending forums and exhibitions in 2020. The event location for the 2020 Battery Experts Forum has been moved because of its combination with Light + Building. The forum will now be held in the Congress Center, and exhibitions will be in adjacent Hall 6.0, where the Mobility Action Area will also be placed. The entrance to the Battery Experts Forum will be located in an exclusive area of the Congress Center, while Hall 6.0 will offer direct access to Light + Building.
