Continued sales growth and the introduction of an expanded product range has prompted a move to larger premises for power distribution specialists Lewden, a subsidiary of Palazzoli S.p.A.
Offering electrical power distribution solutions for industrial, construction, commercial, domestic and event sectors, Lewden has over 60 years’ experience in supplying the professional electrical engineer with high quality switchgear and electrical power connections. Lewden’s custom build capability also provides an answer to problems that require a bespoke engineered solution.
Reflecting our strong performance to date, the new 86,000 sq. ft. premises in Braintree, Essex, is a more spacious, tailored facility that incorporates a large production workshop that will oversee all custom build work, office facilities including customer service, technical departments and a large warehouse facility.
Giovanni Baccini, Marketing Manager for Palazzoli, commented “The decision to move our operations out of London was twofold, we required a much larger, user friendly facility to cope with the expansion of the company and we also required a location that was strategically considered for easy access to major motorways, thus providing a more streamlined service to our customers.
The new site also allows for anticipated growth and further expansion, as and when we require more space. Moving to larger premises will enable us to accelerate the development of solutions for target markets, to support our growth strategy and provide greater support to our existing client base”.
