ETS Cable Components – the specialist distributor of Low and Medium Voltage cable accessories – are pleased to announce the launch of their new technical blog for the cabling side of the electrical industry.
Since ETS started trading 25 years ago, key staff have been selected from a cable installation background, meaning that technical ‘know-how’ has only been a phone call away, helping to cement the company’s reputation as an impartial and knowledgeable supplier.
Kevin Moloney, Director of ETS Cable Components commented: ‘Over the years we have been asked many technical questions that often get repeated, so we thought it would be a good idea to have one central information bank for everyone to share. We hope that it will grow over time whilst we receive more questions and suggestions from our colleagues in the industry on subject areas that appeal. We don’t claim to have all the answers and if we don’t, we should know someone who will.’
As more and more people within the industry look for definitive knowledge on best practise for power cable installation, ETS decided to launch this blog – with its own dedicated section of the website – where cabling professionals can view a wealth of technical, educational and informative articles covering all corners of the cable jointing industry, as well as guest blogs from some key players within the trade.
With the ability to comment on and share posts, together with the integration of social media, ETS hope to create a community that will help educate and share information to benefit the whole industry.
