Megaman has launched a series of LightwaveRF videos available to view on Megaman TV (www.megamanuk.com/megamantv/) to offer precise details of how the LightwaveRF ‘smart home’ system works with easy to understand, step by step installation guides for each of the LightwaveRF products.

LightwaveRF is a wireless smart home technology system for the control of lighting, power and heating devices.   The LightwaveRF product range includes intelligent dimmers, radiator valves, sockets and sensors that can be controlled via an Internet connection from a smartphone, tablet, PC or hand-held remote control, as well as responding to occupancy sensors. Crucially, all of these products are easy to retrofit as a replacement for existing sockets switches and radiator valves with no re-wiring. As well as responding to commands from remote control devices, LightwaveRF products can be programmed to follow set routines in line with daily activities. The system is compatible with both the Apple iOS and Android mobile platforms.

The collaboration between Megaman and LightwaveRF means that the ‘smart’ home is now within everyone’s reach. By using the retrofit technology, a house can be made more cost and energy efficient one room at a time, starting with just one socket and incorporating the system into every room over a period of time.

The videos explain the features and benefits of each LightwaveRF product and ‘how to install’ guides.  The videos address any potential questions and provide in-depth information on how to install each of the components such as dimmers, magnetic switches, mood controllers, PIR, sockets and inline relays, they also explain how to use the LightwaveRF App.
