NEC, Birmingham, September 6 – 7 2017, Stand 7

Epson will be demonstrating its complete LabelWorks range of printers at the inaugural ED&I Expo which takes place next month at Birmingham’s NEC.

Epson’s LabelWorks handheld label printers are ideal for electrical and IT engineers, maintenance contractors, builders and plumbers.  Together with the Epson Label editor application on your mobile phone you can quickly and easily produce high visibility safety signage, magnetic labels and heat shrink wrap for tagging electrical equipment including, network comms cables, audio visual cables, pipes and machinery.

Products on show at ED&I will include Epson’s industrial-grade LabelWorks LW-Z900FK a must-have for jobs in demanding environments.  Automated and fast label printing, cost-saving options, and hands-free operation make this ideally suited to installers, maintenance contractors, builders and plumbers.  Perfect for rapidly, efficiently and affordably labelling electrics, cabling, including audio/video cables, data communications equipment, as well as pipes and machinery, in offices, factories, server rooms and construction sites.

A unique Pick & Print function enables the LW-Z900FK to print the next label in a pre-set series when it detects that a user has ‘picked’ the previous label – this is combined with automatic full and half cutting. For repetitive jobs, it can save up to 100 different label patterns, saving time and increasing efficiency. Hands-free operation is made possible by an automatic cutter that cuts full or half-size labels, and magnets that can be used to hold the printer onto steel surfaces. Text entry is made easier by a central keyboard – alternatively a PC keyboard can be used while using Epson’s Label Editor software.

Also on the stand will be the LabelWorks LW-Z700FK, a sturdy, practical and cost-effective industrial label maker. Featuring hot keys, a mixed label length function and other hands-free features, label-making on the LW-Z700FK is all about boosting productivity with the latest features, but at a competitive price.

Meanwhile, the LabelWorks LW-1000P allows you to create and print labels easily, as you can print from your computer or directly from an iOS or Android device. Featuring fast 35mm/sec print speeds, multiple connectivity options and a top-loading tape feed, this professional label maker will be great addition to your workplace.

If you’re looking for something smaller, the LabelWorks LW-600P is the smallest and lightest 24mm desktop label printer the market.  Offering a new way of creating labels, it prints from your computer or directly from your iOS or Android device, connected via Bluetooth so multiple users can share it. With one nine-metre tape, fast print speeds and a high resolution, print quality labels quickly, almost anywhere.

Completing Epson’s appearance at ED&I is the LabelWorks LW-K400 handheld label maker, a versatile and lightweight device with a built-in keyboard and a host of productivity features.  Extra-large fonts, new symbols and upgraded templates make labels easier and more economical for offices and retailers, electricians, AV installers, and warehouse and asset managers.

Also appearing on Epson’s stand will also be Northampton based, ERS Limited, (Electronic Reading Systems) one of Epson’s Colour Label Plus Gold partners.

Dayle Guy, product manager for Professional Print Solutions, Epson UK, says:  “We are looking forward to exhibiting at this exciting new show and demonstrating what our handheld label printing solutions can deliver to a whole range of businesses needing different applications.  We anticipate a busy ED&I and are looking forward to demonstrating our products to a wide range of potential customers.”
