Alongside its technical programme, CWIEME Berlin has announced a series of social networking events for its 2026 exhibition, each one designed to foster meaningful connections across the electrical engineering, coil winding and e-mobility industries

Taking place from 19–21 May at Messe Berlin, the event promises to be not just a standard industry trade show, but a celebration of shared purpose that continues after everyone leaves the exhibition floor.

The world’s largest coil winding and electrical manufacturing exhibition will provide a social setting where networking extends beyond immediate commercial objectives, fostering lasting professional connections. On the opening day, the event’s Power Up Welcome Party will bring together both exhibitors and visitors just outside Messe Berlin to unwind with complimentary food and drinks. The event, which this year will celebrate 30 years of CWIEME Berlin, will be 90s themed to tie in with the anniversary of the exhibition.

On day two, CWIEME Berlin will host a Happy Hour from 4-5 pm at the Powergarten beer garden, located between Halls 27 and 25. Scheduled for late afternoon, the gathering offers an informal environment for discussion before the close of the exhibition day, providing a convenient opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to strike up conversations while still at the show’s venue.

“In an industry built on long-term collaboration, face-to-face interaction remains a vital part of the networking process,” explains Nicola Acampora, Head of Growth at Hyve Group at CWIEME. “At these social events, visitors and exhibitors can enjoy conversations that transcend more transactional matters, allowing them to build trust, exchange perspectives and strengthen relationships in a relaxed environment.”

“By creating dedicated moments for informal discussion, we aim to support deeper professional connections that continue long after the event has finished,” added Melissa Magestro, Portfolio Director at CWIEME. “The social events at CWIEME Berlin 2026 will only reinforce the importance of personal connections in a global engineering community.”

In addition to these scheduled events, dedicated food and drink areas will be available throughout the three-day exhibition. These spaces are intended to encourage spontaneous interaction during lunch breaks and between meetings, allowing visitors and exhibitors to continue discussions in a more informal setting.
