VIDEO: In the recent Business Channel series commissioned by The Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Pentair Thermal Management (formerly Tyco Thermal Controls) was asked to discuss its technology, products, and services, and the benefits these offer to CIBSE members, as well as the building services industry as a whole.

Jonathan Jones, European product and marketing manager, and Robert Boland, UK sales director, were asked how Pentair Thermal Management works with and supports CIBSE and its members within the built environment.

The interview (which can be viewed below), was broadcast in early April and focused on how and where Pentair solutions can be applied within building services and how these solutions help to drive energy efficiency, system performance and safety in buildings.

Additionally, the issue of industry support of CIBSE members was raised by the interviewer and the options for face to face and online CIBSE approved CPD training was discussed. Most importantly, the services provided by Pentair Thermal Management to system designers, contractors, and facilities managers were investigated in more detail, particularly in relation to initial engineering and design support, on-site training and contractor support services and commissioning and maintenance support services.

Jones, commented, “Pentair is always keen to support the industry and work in collaboration to share technology and ideas for carbon reduction and energy efficiency, this interview proved to be an ideal opportunity to accomplish this.”
