cpn has provided the lighting controls for BAGNODESIGN’S new European flagship showroom in the heart of London’s Chelsea Design Quarter. The showroom is located on the famous Kings Road and offers the very latest in bathroom design, with elegant and sophisticated bathroom solutions displayed in opulent surroundings.
BAGNODESIGN provides an extensive range of quality bathroom sanitaryware, fixtures and fittings – from washbasins, taps and bathroom accessories, to bath and shower components, whirlpools and steam rooms and boasts the ability to create ‘dream’ bathrooms for customers. Part of the international SANIPEX Group, BAGNODESIGN is growing fast and opening retail showrooms in rapid succession in major cities across the UK.
For the eye-catching two storey Chelsea showroom, cpn supplied hardwired DALI controllers throughout both floors to broadcast DALI signals to switch and dim the luminaires and also control emergency lighting. Each floor was split into two different zones with over 60 luminaires in the basement area and over 70 luminaires on the larger ground floor showroom section. All of the controllers provide staff with a high level of flexibility and the ability to manage lighting levels manually when sufficient natural daylight is permeating the area, or to produce a more relaxing ambience.
