Flexicon is offering engineers the option to easily select and download engineering drawings for flexible conduit systems in a 3D format ready to import into their CAD designs.
This service is being offered to registered users on the company’s website, so designers can download the CAD models for all of their metallic and non-metallic conduit, fittings and accessories ready to integrate into their design. All of the supporting information such as part numbers and technical data will also be incorporated.
Colin Legg, marketing manager for Flexicon, commented, “Conduit and fittings are typically components within a system and using our CAD product catalogue you can now download the most suitable system directly into your design, in whichever design software you work with. There is now no need to create your own drawing and using this system helps you make an informed choice and reduces the need to see a physical sample.”
The online electronic catalogue offers Flexicon’s 3,500 products in over 85 different CAD file formats, including STEP and Catia.
