Astute Group has announced a leadership transition designed to strengthen the foundations of the business as it moves into its next chapter

Geoff Hill, Founder and Managing Director of Astute Group, will become Chairman, continuing to play a key role in shaping the Group’s long-term strategy while providing guidance and continuity as the business moves towards a more unified global operation.

Aran Coker has been promoted from Director to Chief Executive Officer and will take on day-to-day leadership of the Group.

Having spent 27 years with Astute, Aran has played a significant role in the development, growth and international expansion of the business. As CEO, he will focus on delivering Astute’s strategy, bringing its teams together as one Group and building on the foundations established over more than 35 years.

Geoff Hill, Chairman of Astute Group, said: “Astute has always been driven by the same conviction — finding a way to add value whilst servicing our customers and the industries we serve. Stepping into the Chairman role allows me to keep contributing to that mission whilst giving Aran the space to lead us forward.”

Aran Coker, CEO of Astute Group, added: “I’m incredibly proud to have the opportunity to lead the Group into its next chapter. We have exceptional people, a truly global reach, deep technical expertise and a tremendous opportunity ahead of us.

“My focus is on bringing that strength together as one Group, putting our customers at the heart of everything we do and building on what Geoff has spent over three decades creating.”

The leadership transition reflects Astute’s continued evolution as a trusted global partner across defence and electronics supply chains.

Looking ahead, the Group will continue to build on its reputation for service, reliability and technical expertise, while strengthening collaboration across its global operations and supporting the customers and partners it serves.
