Mechanical engineering specialist, Seratech Engineering and Prototyping is maintaining its production standards and enhancing process efficiencies with its new partnership with Essentra Components, a leading provider of essential industrial components
As a developer of customised, specialist mechanical engineering machines, Seratech sought a dependable partner to simplify the process of ordering its wide variety of specialised, high-quality components. Rather than continuing to manage the complexity of multiple suppliers, Seratech recognised the need for an all-in-one provider of components. It turned to Essentra to provide the solution.
With more than 65 years of experience as a global manufacturer and distributor of essential components, Essentra was able to recognise the problem and gave Seratech instant access to over 45,000 individual components – from caps and plugs to cable ducting, cable clips and rocker switches. Following a number of consultations, provision of free samples and free CAD drawings, the result was a bespoke partnership that addressed Seratech’s concerns over efficiency and quality.
Ramses Selen, Owner of Seratech, said that the new partnership has helped make their day-to-day operations more efficient: “Having one supplier like Essentra who takes care of everything for us, we can fully focus on innovation and technological development, without having to worry about any dip in quality of efficiency whilst balancing multiple relationships. In Essentra, we’ve gained a supportive, long-term partner.”
Stefan Bosmans, Benelux General Manager at Essentra, says: “I am delighted at the speed of delivery and consistency from the team to support the growth of Seratech and uphold their high-quality standards across their mechanical engineering portfolio. While we handle the supply of components, Seratech can continue doing what they do best, delivering customised solutions and pushing the boundaries of technology and engineering.”
