Critical power specialist, Powertecnique, is celebrating success as South East winner of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Chamber Awards 2014 for Excellence in Innovation.

The award recognises two of Powertecnique’s newly launched products; DataShelter, a containerised modular data centre, and PowerVue, a remote monitoring solution.

Darren Pearce, managing director at Powertecnique, commented: “It’s encouraging to have this recognition. We invest heavily in research and development, basing our products on a combination of client requirements, our knowledge of power supplies and some of the cleverest engineering and IT talent in the UK. The Chamber Award demonstrates our commitment to innovation without taking the focus away from our core principle of reliability. Both PowerVue and DataShelter have been designed to help our customers better prepare themselves against any power issues that they may encounter.”

Powertecnique will now go forward to represent the South East in the national finals taking place in London in November.
