In addition to Dr. Andy Lewry presenting his new energy management briefing paper live at The Smart Buildings & Controls Show this October, a range of other profile event partners have been confirmed for the seminar programme, including Smart Buildings and leading building services trade body, the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA)

Mark Davenport of Smart Buildings comments: “We are supporting the show because of the alignment with the service we provide and will be using it as a platform to launch the latest version of our Smart-VUE Application based integration dashboard which is getting buildings ready for the Internet of Things.”

The event has also won the backing of the ECA for the first time. The Association’s Head of Specialist Groups Steve Martin comments: “The ECA is delighted to be working alongside a range of leading industry partners on this year’s Smart Buildings & Controls Show.

“The event is a great opportunity to discuss the range of opportunities for contractors in smart building controls – which is a major growth area for ambitious building services firms.

“The ECA will be participating in some of the event seminars, and we look forward to announcing more details on our involvement in the near future.”

Companies wishing to present as part of the technical seminar programme are advised to submit their ideas online at buildingcontrolsshow.co.uk by the end of July at the latest – “slots are already filling up fast,” says Neil Mead, managing editor of the Industrial Division at Datateam Business Media.

The Smart Buildings & Controls Show is the only UK exhibition dedicated to the building controls industry, providing a focussed event that showcases new product development and technical innovation in smart buildings, controls and energy management.

Now in its sixth year and taking place at the prestigious Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey on 19&20 October, the show has a number of new elements added which will further expand and develop this key industry trade show.

In addition to a focused exhibition of the latest products and technology from leading names in the industry, highlights include a technical seminar programme that will include presentations on many key topics affecting the industry and a new technology demonstration zone, which will provide suppliers with the opportunity to show off their latest developments.

Commenting on the stands and sponsorship opportunities available, exhibition sales manager Jacqui Henderson comments: “The Smart Buildings & Controls show is a great opportunity for suppliers to connect with contractors, consultants and end users located in and around London, that operate on a national and global scale. Cost effective and easy to organise, our packages are designed to enable companies to maximise every opportunity at the event.”

Carlo Gavazzi, Regin Controls, Smart Buildings, and The Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) are just a few of the names already signed up.
