We take care over the design of our products, so as well as great performance the products are designed to be easy to install. For example with our separate mounting plates for the surface products allows the installer to wire in the base plate and then simply snap the sensor head into place. With our remote control you can set the controls, run on time and lux level, from the ground saving the need for a ladder.
At BEG we are always striving to develop solutions for our customers, and take the hotel sector for example. Most hotels have long corridors, which used to mean that a greater number of parallel-connected motion sensors were needed, which meant increased wiring costs and increased thermal loads. To avoid such disadvantages, to lower thermal loads and to provide a more economic solutions, we developed the PD4 Corridor range of detectors. Large detection range with a narrow coverage beam means that one sensor can provide detection on a 40m corridor.
Our occupancy sensors have been installed throughout the world, providing energy efficiency and control to thousands. Applications range from simple control in Toilets and stores rooms to corridors to constant light control in offices through to KNX systems in hotels. Installations in the UK, include the University of Oxford, Eurostar terminal in Ashford and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors HQ in London.
