In conjunction with this years’ National Apprenticeship Week (5-9 March), Brammer Buck & Hickman is once again calling for entries to its Apprentice of the Year award.
Now in its tenth anniversary year, the award initiative is aimed at not only rewarding dedicated and successful apprentices, but encouraging more young people to take this route into a rewarding career.
The awards are open to all UK-based companies which offer apprenticeship schemes, as well as training providers with courses in engineering and key trades. Andrew Jeffrey, Commercial Director at Brammer Buck & Hickman explained: “Any business which offers apprenticeships knows the hugely positive impact that they have on both the learner and the employer. Our scheme enables them to nominate their most promising apprentices for independent recognition: a great addition to the apprentice’s CV and a testament to the supportive learning environment created by the organisation they work for.”
Presented individually at each company and at a time to suit them, winners receive a certificate and trophy recognising their achievements, as well as £100 in vouchers redeemable against Roebuck branded tools.
