Since launching its specialist rail division just a few months ago Garic, the leading supplier of welfare facilities and plant to the infrastructure, construction, industrial and utilities sectors, has been highly delighted at the response it has received. The company’s new division, Garic Rail, is already working with 10 of the UK’s leading rail contractors.
The company’s range of specialist rail products include mobile towable Armadillo welfare units, welfare vans, site tower lights, 40ft site welfare trailers and mobile rail dust cannons.
Commenting on the launch, director Neil Richardson said: “Garic has been supplying products to the sector for a number of years and felt it was time to invest further resources in supporting our rail clients.
“We have tailored many of our products, such as our compact solar powered welfare units and towable dust suppression cannons, to suit the needs of trackside projects. We’ve also added additional safety features such as extra lighting and cameras which received very positive feedback at SafeStart 18 earlier this year.
“By constantly developing and adapting our products Garic aims to provide our customers with the safest, most efficient and eco-friendly welfare and site set-up solutions possible.”
The new division offers a structured service which includes planning, organising and managing all hire plant required by rail companies and contractors wherever they are in the UK.
Garic Rail is a member of the Rail Industry Association (RIA), the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) and all personnel have Personal Track Safety (PTS) training qualifications.
