More than 40 trailerised Power Electrics generators have been supplied to Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution (SHEPD) in Scotland, enabling SHEPD to be more responsive to its customers in this large geographical area.
The generators are 3-phase units and in a range of 33-100kVA – all sets are capable of operating in 3-phase, split-phase, set to set synchronising and set to mains synchronising modes.
The trailers have been designed to operate with the full range of SHEPD vehicles used in this type of activity. The generators have synchronised cable reels, are fuel efficient and meet the rigorous requirements of the customers’ power needs. All of the generators have long run bunded base tanks which fully comply with the requirements of The Scottish Water authorities. The galvanised, sound attenuated enclosures provide noise reduction making them suitable for operation in residential areas.
