A leading electrical engineering firm has bolstered its existing team with the appointment of an experienced new managing director, in support of its strategic growth plans

adi Electrical, which is part of engineering solutions company, adi Group, has recruited Nick Reidy to head up the division as managing director.

Bringing with him almost 20 years of experience in the electrical engineering industry, Nick has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the sector, from his apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical engineering, through to his more recent senior management roles.

Most recently, Nick was business development director at The Automated Technology Group, where he was responsible for the overall management of strategic and operational marketing and customer relationships. Previous to this, Nick spent 14 years working across various areas of leading automation business, ABB.

Nick says he was attracted to adi Electrical by the combination of its ambitious growth plans and continued business development, alongside the full turnkey opportunity that it delivers to its customer base.
