After the successful launches of EPS-25, EPS-35, EPS-45, EPS-65, ELP-75, EPP-100, EPP-150, and EPP-300 series, Mean Well have increased their range of open frame power supplies and now include the EPS-15 series a 15 watt open frame with very small format of 1.8” by 2.5” and only a 24mm height.
Designed with extremely low no load power consumption of less than 0.3W the EPS-15 series has advantages of compact size, as the PCB area is 37% less than its predecessor , up to 85% of high efficiency and a warranty of 3 years.
With universal AC inputs and manufactured to operate from -30? to +70? ambient temperature when cooled by free air convection, the Mean Well EPS-15 series includes protection functions such as short circuit, overload, and over voltage.
Because of the extremely low no-load power consumption it allows designers to easily conform to the requirements of ErP (Energy-related Products) and Energy Star. The EPS-15 series meets UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE and suitable applications include factory automation, electrical or mechanical equipment and any application that requires low no load power consumption.
