More than 70,000 people involved in the specification of health and safety products for manufacturing facilities of all sizes were asked to vote for their top safety products. The poll was conducted by US industrial magazine, ISHN, which provides a combination of product news and insights into new health and safety regulations.
The winners have now been announced and the CAP-4-US from IRISS was judged to be the best arc flash protection product in the ISHN Reader Choice Awards. This device – part of the IRISS electrical maintenance safety device range (EMSD) – is the world’s first combined infrared and ultrasound port.
“We are delighted that the strengths of our CAP-4-US have been recognised by the health and safety professionals in the US,” commented Anthony Ballard, operations director IRISS EMEA. “The US leads the way on the adoption of EMSD strategies. And it’s good for potential users in EMEA to know that our products are proven in such a mature market.”
