Monitran (stand U67) will be using the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show, held on 13th-14th February 2013 at FIVE, Farnborough, to launch its new handheld vibration meter.

Designed to conform to ISO 10816-3, features will include a crisp, colour LCD display, the ability to store up to 100 readings (acceleration, velocity or displacement) against a real time clock, a rechargeable battery and a tough rubberised case.

Andy Anthony, Monitran’s managing director, commented, “As an OEM of accelerometers and an expert in the physics of vibrations, we appreciate what a useful tool a Vibration Meter is for the frontline maintenance engineer.”

Monitran’s yet to be named new vibration meter will be joining a range of other products to be showcased, including the MTN/5000-16 condition monitoring system launched at last year’s Southern Manufacturing & Electronics.

In addition, Monitran’s experts will be on hand to discuss the company’s sensor customisation and turnkey project services.

Anthony concluded, “Southern Manufacturing & Electronics seems to be going from strength to strength, and works well for Monitran in terms of product launches. We’re looking forward to unveiling our new product, a vibration meter designed by vibration experts, in February, and invite exhibition attendees to visit us on our stand.”
