Following the company’s strategic rebrand earlier this year, a fast growing UK Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) specialist, Power Control (PCL) has announced its new board of directors.

Taking up the helm as PCL’s new managing director is Mark Trolley. Having been with the business for over 15 years and sales director of Borri for the past 5, Mr Trolley has played an instrumental role in doubling the company’s turnover, securing the its position as one of most highly regarded UPS businesses in the country.

Mr Trolley not only has broad experience across all internal areas of the company but also possesses an enviable industry and product knowledge base. This invaluable depth and breadth of expertise makes Mr Trolley the perfect candidate to lead the company towards the next stage of growth and diversity.

Supporting Mr Trolley to ensure that all finances are in order and working to enhance in-house business processes, Tom Nicholson has been appointed finance director. A Chartered Accountant (ACA) with a keen eye for detail, Mr Nicholson combines a personal and pragmatic approach to business, which has earned him the greatest amount of respect with both the PCL board of directors and the company’s employees.

PCL’s new sales director is Matt de Frece. With nearly a decade’s worth of experience in the UPS field and an unrivalled order book, Mr de Frece has a proven aptitude for identifying new niche market opportunities. In addition to further broadening the company’s sales scope, Mr de Frece is also charged with strengthening the company’s nationwide sales force.

Rounding off PCL’s new board of directors is Rob Mather who takes up the position of service sales director and offers impressive commercial, technical and relationship management credentials. Mr Mather heads up one of company’s core departments and is responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery and divisional growth.

Formerly Borri, PCL rebranded in January 2015 to allow the company to showcase and develop its portfolio including its wider pool of equipment, technical services and project solutions. This scope also further emphasises PCL’s commitment to delivering tailored power protection solutions for the UK and overseas markets.

PCL continues to be committed to Borri three phase UPS products and technologies and remains an official UK distributor for the Italian manufacturer. PCL continues to receive direct manufacturing and technical support from Borri Spa whilst maintaining its high level of engineering involvement, which is supported by its all encompassing service and maintenance programmes and high UPS and product spares stock levels.
