VEGA has introduced a new App available for smart phones or devices that enables access to numerous utilities revolving around VEGA instruments and services, providing the user with useful help and information.
The new VEGA Tools App includes an ‘Instrument Search’ which automatically provides information on instruments and operating manuals. Additionally, it can also offer instrument specific documentation and certificates and can update the user on new Apps as they arrive.
The App works by enabling the device camera to scan the barcode or data matrix (QR) code on the VEGA sensor. Alternatively the serial number found beneath the barcode, inside the housing or stored in the transmitter electronics, can be typed in.
The Apps are designed to provide convenient help to the VEGA instrument user and customer, for faster, more accurate device information.
VEGA tools can be downloaded from the Apple App and Google Play Store, or alternatively can be used via www.vega.com/uk, which offers the same functionality and information, with serial number input, or it can be accessed via FDT/DTM PACTware when connected to both instrument and the internet.
