With the aim of improving flexibility, strength and installation speed, Legrand has introduced its new range of Atlantic-E steel enclosures.
The new range is available in 27 sizes ranging from 300 x 200 x 150mm to 1,200 x 800 x 300mm, offers IP66 weather-proof protection against water and dust, and has a rating of IK10 against mechanical impact.
The new enclosures are supplied ready to use with a removable plain mounting plate and feature a selection of time saving accessories that include Cabstop plates for fast direct cable entry, perforated plates that simplify fixing equipment within the enclosure, and a ready to use chassis that is well suited for the integration of modular devices.
Further features include dual locks for additional security on larger enclosures, optional mounting lugs for heavy loads up to 300kg, and fully reversible doors with a 130° opening angle for ease of access. Atlantic-E is the latest addition to Legrand’s portfolio of industrial enclosures, which also includes Atlantic stainless steel and Marina GRP enclosures, and IP55 and IP66 plastic industrial boxes.
