Mindshare Technical Sales win Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year
Harwin has announced the winners of its annual Distributor of the Year Award, with Mouser taking two trophies: the grand prize of Global Distributor of the Year, plus Americas Distributor of the Year.
Additionally, Mindshare Technical Sales was declared Americas Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year, for the second year in a row.
The Distributor of the Year Award is based on an analysis of six KPIs, including sales growth, bookings and billings, new designs and the ease of doing business with the distributor, with the Texas-headquartered online distributor outperforming its US-rivals across four of these. Harwin particularly noted Mouser’s increased period-on-period inventory positioning, with bookings up 28 per cent and billings up 6 per cent versus last year.
Anthony Bruggeman, Harwin’s Head of Distribution, Americas, said: “Mouser has been a key partner, particularly in supporting our strategic initiatives. Over the past year, our collaboration and alignment at all levels have contributed to our success. We’re pleased to recognize them with the Global Distributor of the Year Award.”
In presenting its Manufacturer’s Representative category, Harwin stated that Mindshare Technical Sales had “outperformed” all other representative groups in terms of customer engagement and new opportunity development, with Jessica Knight, VP of Sales, Americas at Harwin, saying: “During the past year, Mindshare has achieved remarkable results by developing and converting new business opportunities across Harwin’s HRi, BBi and EZi product verticals. Their ability to identify and pursue key accounts has been instrumental in driving Harwin’s success.”
