They are designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures or for any use where environmental sealing and/or corrosion resistance are primary requirements. UL Listing is a considerable benefit if the equipment is to be exported to North America.

- Smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts, or holes.
- Formed lip on enclosure to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.
- 6mm thick welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting.
- Continuously hinged cover has 304 stainless steel hinges and provides 180° opening.
- Door latches feature the added security of a quarter turn slot fixing requiring the use of a tool for opening.
- Quarter turn latches for easy opening. Added security available with alternate latches or padlock adapter kits.
- Seamless poured-in place gasket.
- All sizes apart from the smallest include a removable 1.6mm galvanized inner panel.
- Internal threaded weld studs are provided for mounting inner panels.
- A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is provided on the enclosure.
- Grounding and panel mounting hardware provided.
- Inner panels are unpainted galvanised steel.
