WAGNER will be embarking on a multi-city roadshow around the UK and Ireland during May and June to promote its fire protection solutions – OxyReduct and TITANUS ASD.

Visitors will be able to visit the OxyReduct demonstration trailer and witness at first hand an environment where fire cannot start. They will also be able to get hands-on with TITANUS ASD, a range of air sampling smoke detection systems.

CPD presentations will be running throughout the day at each of the 14 venues and WAGNER UK’s staff will be available to answer questions and help with hands-on sessions. Each Roadshow will be open early in the morning to late afternoon to allow the event to be accommodated into people’s busy schedules. Light refreshments will also be available throughout the day. Interested professionals can book the event by visiting www.wagner-roadshow.com or calling 0870 333 6116.

OxyReduct works by reducing the oxygen level in a room by adding nitrogen to the air so that an open fire is impossible. Importantly, people can enter and work in the protected area at any time. Over 500 major organisations throughout Europe, including the British Library, Jaguar Land Rover and British Airways, have installed OxyReduct systems in a range of applications including IT data centres, communication suites, archives, museums, cold/freezer storage and warehousing.

TITANUS ASD systems can detect fires at a very early stage, often before visible smouldering takes place, before an open fire occurs and before intense smoke develops. This early detection is vital to mission critical and high risk applications. TITANUS systems draw air samples continuously from the monitored area through a pipe system fitted with sampling holes at regular intervals. The airflow is then analysed for smoke particles and an alarm is raised if smoke is present.
