Building control systems supplier Priva is to sponsor the inaugural Building Services Forum. The Forum is a one-day ticketed event encompassing a CPD accredited seminar programme covering topics such as the Internet of Things, cyber security, intelligent buildings, healthy buildings, energy management and more.

Priva offers cutting-edge technology to provide a comfortable, healthy and energy efficient working environment for all applications. Priva has various cloud-based solutions, including BI Metrics, BI Energy and BI Alarms, which provide building performance analysis via KPI’s and energy management packages. The alarm ‘App’ is able to be viewed through smart devices such as phones and tablets.

Commenting on the decision to sponsor the Forum, UK and Ireland sales manager Gavin Holvey says: “The topics covered in the Building Services Forum seminar programme are the future of our industry; technology is moving so fast and it’s amazing to think that a building owner/manager can actively monitor their building via smart devices using ‘cloud’ technology, at any time of the day or night!”

“As all the seminar topics will be relevant to all building owners/managers, consultants, energy & facility managers, all in a single forum,  it’s going to be a great day to find out all about the latest technology, plus any future and existing cloud solutions, with the added benefit of all seminars being CPD accredited.”

Priva will support the comprehensive seminar programme with a presentation led by Andy Mills. The seminar will cover ‘Energy and Performance Management’.

Andy explains: “Far too many buildings do not perform optimally. Installations use too much energy and there are plenty of problems regarding comfort. The most prevalent cause: too little attention to building performance during the maintenance and control phase. Our seminar explains the thinking and techniques behind our solutions.”

The Building Services Forum will take place on 8 February 2018 at the Building Centre, London.
