BMT has announced the appointment of Stephen Vaughn, P.E. as Regional Manager for the Americas.  Transportation Engineer by trade, Stephen joins BMT with 17 years’ experience of working on critical infrastructure projects.
 
Stephen spent over 15 years with a Department of Transportation and Highways in Illinois where his later years saw him work closely with local municipalities to communicate the goals, current projects and vision for the infrastructure network. 
 
Commenting on his new role, Stephen Vaughn says: “BMT has a strong caring culture backed up by superb technical quality and I’m excited to be part of the team.  My focus in the short term will be to build upon our existing client base, but also to look at establishing new relationships and work closely with those clients to better understand some of the complex engineering challenges they face.”
 
Working with engineers, architects and developers in major cities including San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Miami, BMT has a strong track record of delivering cost effective and safe design of civil engineering structures through its engineering services.

Stephen is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), as well as the American Planning Association (APA).
