p6ciAlan Ransom of Net-Tex Industries was the lucky winner in the 2011 annual Connecting Industry circulation prize draw. Ransom’s prize of an iPod Touch was presented to him by Datateam’s managing editor, Neil Mead, at the Net-Tex Industries headquarters in Kent. Ransom is a regular reader of Factory Equipment and finds the content, “an interesting and useful read” that helps in his role of purchasing manager.

Formed in 1983, Net-Tex was originally geared to service the needs of the veterinary and agricultural industry with high technology solutions, nutrition and animal husbandry equipment products. The company’s aerosol range for niche markets has now expanded to include general automotive, fire and stove, equestrian products and an insecticide range.
