Market-leading electrical training course provider, Trade Skills 4U (TS4U), is celebrating the launch of its new state-of-the-art training facility in Leeds, as it looks to target aspiring electricians in the Yorkshire and North East regions.

TS4U will be holding a launch day on the 9th May at Phoenix House, Hawthorn Park, Coal Road, Leeds, LS14 1PQ, where potential students can register for free taster sessions, as well as a tour of the facility.

Established in 2005, TS4U specialises in electrical training, delivering courses to over 3,000 students per annum. It currently boasts some of the highest pass rates in the UK, and is the first electrical training organisation to be accepted into the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s Centre of Excellence.

The new 16,000 sq ft Leeds premises will be TS4U’s fourth training centre following its success in Gatwick, Central London and Warrington. The facility will house advanced training classrooms built to the highest of specifications and will be equipped with the latest technology.

TS4U aims to develop individuals with no previous electrical experience by offering the widest range of electrician courses in the UK for new entrants. It also facilitates courses for qualified electricians looking to move into new areas of electrical work. The first courses at the Leeds site are now live to book online, starting from the 14th May 2018.

Sean McDowell from West Yorkshire completed a course with TS4U having applied through the resettlement scheme. He said: “After 30 years of being in the RAF, I wanted to move into something I enjoy doing and as I’ve always had an interest in DIY, I thought I’d take the plunge and get properly qualified in a trade.

“Trade Skills 4U provide excellent facilities and training, and I would encourage anyone who is thinking of entering the electrical profession to apply. The courses are really interesting; made all the better by the course tutors who have extensive knowledge of the trade and its intricacies.”

Carl Bennett, CEO of Trade Skills 4U, said: “We have conducted thorough research to ensure that this new site is perfectly located and easily accessible for our students in both Yorkshire and the North East. From the success of our existing centres, it is clear that there is demand across the UK for our services and we are excited about opening our newest facility in May.

“We recruit only the best and most experienced people to ensure our students receive first class knowledge and advice from professional tutors who have a passion for what they do. We hope that anyone looking to enter the profession will come and visit our incredible facility on 9th May and see why we are the leading provider of electrical training courses.”
